Dr Samreen Bhaidani (DCounsPsych)
With over sixteen years of professional experience, I am highly accomplished and have experience with individual clients as well as families from various age groups, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, with a range of mental health presentations and needs including trauma, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD and cPTSD. I have worked with vulnerable and distressed clients who have been through experiences of discrimination, disempowerment and abuse.
I have extensive experience of working in the NHS, Bristol MIND and Off the Record Bristol as well as education establishments. I offer a compassionate, understanding, and empathic service to my clients and create a non-judgemental environment where clients can talk freely about their thoughts, feelings and difficulties. I provide a safe space for my clients to talk about their concerns. Great importance is given to facilitating clients’ wellbeing by promoting humanistic values when attending to their concerns as well following a solution-focused framework.
