Taking the first step

Thank you for taking the time to visit. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely natural to feel uncertain about making that first contact — whether you're ready to book an appointment or would simply like to ask a few questions, I'd be pleased to hear from you.

I aim to respond to all enquiries within 1–2 working days. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch — an initial conversation can often help you decide whether taking the next step feels right.

02

What happens next?

If you decide to arrange an appointment, our first session will provide an opportunity for us to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin developing an understanding of your experiences.

It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapeutic process and decide whether I am the right psychologist for you.

Finding the right therapeutic relationship is an important part of therapy. There is no obligation to continue if you feel that another approach would better meet your needs.

Everyone is welcome

Whether you're experiencing anxiety, the effects of trauma, relationship difficulties, low mood, life transitions, or simply feel that something isn't quite right, you don't need to face it alone.

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes reaching out is simply about wanting to better understand yourself, make sense of your experiences, or find a healthier way forward. Whatever has brought you here, you will be met with compassion, respect and curiosity.

When you feel ready, I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you towards meaningful and lasting change.
